Howdy from Elgin, Tx
I am glad I found this forum. I've been a Chevy man my whole life, and I am in the market for a project truck.
I just settled down on some acreage in the little town of Elgin, just outside of Austin. We want an old farm truck for hauling around supplies, something that has to make it 30-40 miles or so into town every once in a while, and we want to run biodiesel. My girlfriend keeps saying she wants a truck with wooden bed sides too, hehe. What model trucks would you recommend I look for? |

This is sad. 2 days and no welcome from even your fellow Texans.
I'll gladly be the first to welcome you to the board. Looks like you're looking for a 1ton short box dually with a stake box on the back. Lot's of room for a diesel transplant and room on the back for a big tank. Once again. WELCOME TO THE BOARD!!!!! |
