Huck brake thoughts

Thanks Fred T. Still scratching my head as how to get a safe driver.
I think if selling off some of my "stuff" keeps going well I'll be able to pop for a front disc set up. Now I am wondering about running the stock rear end
w/hucks while running disc up front (for now) because I know I can't (just yet) afford the rear end swap.

Pretty sure I've decided to toss the "get by" idea and go for getting it done right.

My GMC parts book shows different size cylinders front and year on the Huck systems. So apparently they aren't directly interchangeable.

I've heard people convert one end to Bendix and not the other without problems. If that works I would assume you could go disk on the front and run Huck in the back and still stop....

Hmmmmmmm that would sure save me some money and time which I don't have enough of either set aside for the panel. I'll someday do the 9" rear swap which will give me 69 F100 rear brakes (plenty of whoa) but in doing that I'll want to swap trannys, probably T5 that would require a custom driveshaft and as I'm finding out (V8 Volvo swap) is around $400 YIKES !

Thinking is good! I wish I could move beyond that stage, but at least I have time to think it all out...
