Been reading/browsing the site for a couple of months and finally decided to post pics of my '82 Chevy. Here it is so let me know what you think.

nice truck.. i have an 82 myself so im a bit partial to them.... mine is more of a work horse tho. what are the future plans for yours?

Thanks for the compliments guys. As for the truck, not 100% sure how much it is lowered. I'm going to say it's either 5/6 or 6/7. The truck was initially lowered by heating up the front springs and straightening out the leafs out back. I just installed 3" Belltech spindles, Belltech shackles, shocks, and removed one leaf out back. Still not happy with how the rear sits. I want to lower it another inch to level it out.
As for future plans, I would like to stuff a healthy drivetrain but for now the 350/350 combo will have to stay. It also needs some body work to include new doors, hood and fenders. Besides lowering it, I also installed all new steering components up front, windshield and airdam. Tomorrow I should be installing a new carpet in it too. The bowtie I made myself. It has both the US and Mexican flags in it. And yes, as you can see, I'm from Texas. Pretty sure some of you guys know the Rio Grande Valley (Weslaco, TX). Currently living in Cheyenne, WY due to being in the Air Force. |
