ARGH! Truck made me late for work today!!

Damn thing! I swear! It's done this before, I go to start it and it gets no spark. I thought I fixed the problem by securing the connectors to the distributor. But when I went out to start it this morning, the damn thing WOULDN'T fire up! I ended up taking the big full size van and being 10 minutes late for work! I guess I'll just have to pull the distributor cap/coil/rotor off my truck and replace it all with a nice MSD unit. But that'll have to wait a few weeks until I get paid. Maaan...this makes me want to buy a small car!!

Don't doo it.... You think you have problems now, wait until you try to get your hands around an engine with all those sensors and vacuum lines. Your days off weekend mechanics is over and you can get used to paying the dealer big $$'s to fix the new junk.

If it weren't for my little Japanese backup car, I would probably never get anywhere on time. It is worth half what the truck is, runs better, is in better condition, has half the miles on it that the truck does, and never breaks down.

I often get asked why it is not my primary vehicle. I sometimes ask myself that question...

If I had the money, I'd definitely have a daily driver that I could rely on. I've never missed work because of my truck, but I've been late once. Not really bad odds though.

Well, right now, I'm SERIOUSLY considering buying another saturn. I have a 93 SC2, but my mom uses it do drive to work and back (70 mile round trip)
I've found one for $1500 that I could buy. It has Sunroof, A/C, and gets 30mpg!

it does stand to reason theolder a truck gets and the more its used the more it will break down so gotta either keep up with it or buy something newer and more reliable JUST NOT JAP

I tried that..didn't do anything. I even took off a spark plug wire to see if I was getting spark and I didn't see any spark. That's why I was like "Well, my ignition has problems." I just don't understand the damn thing..Computer controlled cars and fuel injection are my thing!
