There are pros and cons to the drilling/not drilling. I have one that has hardware screwed onto the bed. It does put holes in the bed, but the hardware is very small. It can be easily removed by two people in less than a minute! The Non-drilling ones are held on be clamps which are a b**ch to take off. Takes at least 10 min. and you have to re-align it everytime it is taken off. Of course, no holes or rust. I personally like the drilling hard covers. It is strong and can easily be taken off if I need to haul something tall in the bed which I frequently do. I don't like soft covers because I know I would ruin it in no time.

I recently ordered a Gaylord for my short wide.
Waiting for delivery, will post pics when installed. Purchased the X-2000, suppose to be easy removal with a quick release.
