Heater core, A/C or non-A/C??
Whats the difference?? When I ordered the heater core for my Burb he asked me if it was factory a/c, but the one in my Burb "looks" the same as the one in the non-a/c step. Is there gonna be something different about changing the a/c one?? Just curious what I may run in to, I dont know if I dont ask. Thanks guys.

Now it has been some time since I did the swap on mine, but I do recall that the non ac core is much different. I believe the major difference is the houses or spouts that come off the core itself are shaped very differently. I believe the bottom hose on the ac version is much longer. Someone else can probably give you the specifics, but I do know they are different.

The inlet/outlets on the AC heaters are almost a foot long and they curve up to the corner of the heater box because the heater core mounts at an angle. The AC tubes are so long that there is a support on the side of the heater box to hold them in place.
The non AC heater core has the tubes coming straight out at the top and bottom and they are only about 3" long. If you looked at them side by side the differences will be very obvious. Jim
