Seems a little high to me, but it is a nice truck. And I'd swear you stole my White Boxer from your avatar pic

Kinda spendy, but nice.
Why can't all CL posts have such detailed pictures... Oh, wait. Never mind.

Re: criagslist ad
About $7500 too much IMO. Or should that be $10,000 too much?
Not enough attention to detail for that price.

Way to much and I would not have painted it white.

Re: criagslist ad
Way too pricey! For that much money, you get no AC, a cheap repop tailgate (they couldn't find a nice original in AZ???), if you are doing all that work you couldn't fix the holes in the dash in a 20k truck (?!).

Re: criagslist ad
The wheels and tires probably cost $4000.00 so I don't think it's that out of line.

Re: criagslist ad
That truck has popped up on the Phoenix-area CL at least once a month for the past 8-9 months. As I recall the price was about $1K higher early on. I'm not sure what gives with it.

Re: criagslist ad
the white boxer is mine (Hurley) he's a great dog. dont see very many white ones but they are the best looking in IMO. I just got an American Bulldog not too long ago, hes 6 months and 65lbs.
I thought it was a little much for the quality that you can see in the pictures, and I wouldn't have painted it white either. he says its not a maco paint job so he probably paid any where from 5-7k for the paint if the wheels are in the 4k range he has 10k in paint and wheels. but I also understand that just cause you have 30k in receipts doesn't make it worth 30k......... I would say it is definitely worth 10-12k to the right guy....just my opinion... |

Re: criagslist ad
I just noticed that the steering wheel is from stretch plastics.......... Stretch is a big company that builds golf cart parts! and that steering wheel is on a couple golf carts that I built!!!! lol I might have to retract that last statement about it being worth 10-12k! hahahaha

Re: criagslist ad
yeah, maybe an 8-10K truck here MAX....if he wants top dollar, put new carpet, new lenses, the rest of the interior parts, etc....wouldn't have 250 more into it and it would look 1000's better.
oh, and advertise it in canada...not AZ where rust free trucks are easy to find

Re: criagslist ad
For 17,000 i see 2 things that hurt it. The carpet looks like its supposed to be black. Second the engine bay looks a little dated and dirty. No power brakes?Nice truck but its not worth 17,000. Good luck to him though....

Re: criagslist ad
What we refer to as a "paintbooth princess" the paint and rims are the best thing going on it, you still get manual steering, manual brakes,,,,, not worth it IMHO...

Re: criagslist ad
It looks like the cheap tailgate comes pre-bowed, there are spots in the paint around the tailights and you can see grooves sanded into the bondo around the left reverse light. I'd also agree that it looks like that carpet was originally black and then bleached. I don't think that thing would be worth $17k even up here in PA.

As for what the truck has to offer ,,it's missing AC ,Bucket Seats and Power steering ,,and why not fill in the hole on the dash with what came with the truck for that amount of money they are asking for it .. It has real good lines and if you like white ,,it does have looks ,,wheels and tires anyone can add ,,so to me its all about the price and what isn't Picture Perfect .. |

Re: criagslist ad
Yeah, I second that. Nice truck but too much. You could build your own for that and pick you own color and options. I also got to have AC, but to each his own.
