Heater Hose Routing

Putting a new motor in my 78. I bought the truck with no motor and am now running my heater hoses. I am a little confused because there is a heater hose fitting on the water pump, intake, AND radiator. But only the normal 2 hose connections on the heater core. Is there something I am missing? Does someone have a picture of thier engine bay so I can understand what I am not figuring out here! I know this seems like a dumb question but I have never had anything other than the one on the pump and the one on the intake.

Re: Heater Hose Routing

The 5/8" hose goes to your intake. The 3/4" hose goes to the radiator. Just put a plug in the water pump.
