1987 Chevy Paint Recall ??
A friend of mine bought a 1987 Chevy 1/2T and got a great deal on a new paint job because off a little known Chevy & GM issued paint recall.
I was unable to find any information with a Google Recall Search. Might anyone here know of such a recall and where i can find any information that does not require a paid subscription pertaining to any 1987 recalls ?? Thanks ! Phattailrider |

I wouldn't hold my breath on a 23 year old recall, especially for a cosmetic issue.

They never had a recall, just warranty. The warranty was like a 10 year thing, with a 100,000 mile rust through warranty on the sheet iron. Someone is blowing smoke up your buttocks.
The warranty paint was for the peelers, not for just faded paint. They considered fading to be a maintenance issue, neglect basically. |
