Any one still running a canister style filter ?
I have a 1968 c-10 with a 307 and I want to keep it looking original. I think im going to stay with the canister style oil filter. I was trying to clean mine canister up today and i noticed there was some kind of logo or decal on it, but mine was some dirty and half the paint was gone i couldn't tell what it was. The second question is, would you think the canister should be a Low gloss black or a High gloss black?
I know, i know , do what you want, but i would like to know what other people have done with it. |

I've seen that decal in one of the catalogs, just can't remember which right now.
I painted mine gloss black, since that's what was on it when I started doing my resto. Can't say if that was what the factory did.
