I.D. guard in photo

I know it's a poor photo, is what I got though. Guy has a ton of 81-87 stuff, I've bought a few things before from him. My body mans helper is heading out tonight to but a 84 beat up roller from him, just for the cab. I noticed this in one of his listings, told my boy if he could get it for $20 to buy it. Just wondering if anyone will go "oh wow, that's a ....." and tell me what the heck it fits for sure.

Not getting my hopes up to much that it'll fit my 87, but I'd rather be lucky than good.

And I forgot the photos.

Ok, seems it does fit these squares. Now to find out how to get it powder coated. Not sure if they can remove the chrome with blasting or what. I figured it was worth the $20.

Looks like a decent score for 20 bucks.not sure of the part name for it but that design will fit square bodies one of my uncles used to have a 76 GMC 4x4 and he had the exact same grill guard on the 76 so it should fit fine from what i can tell.

Re: I.D. guard in photo

Found one this morning while drinking coffee and cruising the LMC catalog. Had I found this last night I would have not wondered any more. I can honestly say I've never really seen a center grille guard on one of these old trucks. I've seen lots of cattle guards, but not just a sporty looking center like this.
It cleaned up fairly decent with steel wool, except for those 3 scratches, they are down to the metal past the chrome. Might be a good place for a sticker
