bench seat spring

hey guys, i just had my seats redone and the guy that did it took of the brackets and gave them back to me along with a spring. does anyone know where that spring goes? just by looking it looks like on the passengers side, there are a couple of little holes on the brackets and I'm almost certain it goes there.

Re: bench seat spring

A pic would help or maybe describe it a little better. Are you referring to coil spring or the long ones under the seat cushion.

There's a long one that pulls the seat release lever back into place and there's a small one on the passenter side that retracts the latch.

Re: bench seat spring

Does the spring look like this? The one on the left? It hooks onto the seat and onto the slider, to return the seat to the forward most position when you release the slider
