Frame Tabs & Body Mounts ????

I have a 1977 gmc C15 pickup long bed regular cab 2wd that I am currently restoring. I have this truck completely torn down to the frame rails currently. Some of the tabs on the frame where the body mounts to the frame are rotted. My frame is rot free. I am looking to replace these tabs as they are just riveted on. I have searched for these tabs at reproduction shops like LMC truck. I have only found tabs for the updated frame as can be seen on page 35 of the LMC truck online catalog. I beleive the years are 81-89 or something like that. So my questions are....

Can I use these LMC reproduction frame tabs? (I have read they work with the newer body mounts.)

Are there frame tabs available for a 77 someplace else in reproduction?

Thanks.

How many do you need and which ones? I will have a spare set of cab mounts from a 74 K10 if they will do you any good.

Re: Frame Tabs & Body Mounts ????

I need one cab mount tab and the two radiator support tabs (I think they are called).

My drivers side cab tab is in literally new condition, but the passenger side is almost nonexistant.

The passenger side cab mount would be a great help, because I think otherwise I will need to fabricate something.

The front or rear cab mount bracket? The rear ones are inboard of the frame and the front ones are outboard.

I need to keep the core support tabs on mine as this frame is going under my 67 cab and the core support tabs are also the front leaf spring mounts so they need to stay.

Re: Frame Tabs & Body Mounts ????

I have a 2wd so my front supports are most likely different. I am referring to the tabs outside the frame, not the mounts that go in the crossmember.

Take a picture of what you are working on so we get it right.

Most likely you need to resize them so they are smaller. Right click on the image and select edit. This will pull up windows photo editor so you can resize them easily.
