Tower Clamps or Spring Clamps

Ok... can some one tell me what a factory 1970 GMC 1500 rolled of the factor with on the radiator hoses and heater hoses. I believe for cars 62-68 it was tower clamps on the radiator hoses and spring clamps on heater hoses. Car 69 and later had tower clamps for all. What about trucks?

Also, looking for picture of the heater hose configuration with the brackets.

Thanks

Vic

Re: Tower Clamps or Spring Clamps

Tower clamps I believe. Most of the original vehicles (trucks and blazers) that I have ran across in yards have tower clamps still on many hoses. Trevor

I think tower clamps too, but for some reason the clamps on the bypass hose always seems to be different. At least on the BB's I have seen.

Re: Tower Clamps or Spring Clamps

Bypass is definitely a side screw as are the reservoir hoses on bb trucks, the 71-72 def. get towers on all others. I would think that 69 and 70 would as well. The 67/68 trucks got a mix of tower on the rad. hoses and corbin type spring clamps on the heater hoses
