OT!! god its good to be home!!!!

hi guys , just wantin g to tell you all about an expieriance i recently had and why we have it so good here at the chevy truck boards,, and just how great the people are that we share our favorite site with ,,let me tell you about my story!!!i have been out of work for a while actually about 3 years because of a pretty narly back injury,, so i do what i can to pursue my passin of classic chevys and chevy 4wd,s ,, well my wife has been a manager at the local hardees here in shelbyville for the past 5 years i met her there when i was 18 years old,, well she went to work the other day like any other just to have the general district manager come in and say hey today is the day we close the store for good,,WHAMO WITHOUT A MINUTES NOTICE!!!!so i have really got to pick up the pace with my parts and stuff so i decided id try to sell other guys trucks for them so i had a neighbor, an elderly old fella and his wife,, tell me that if i sell his truck for him he would let me have a cut,,so its a 79 f*rd f-350 cmaper special extended cab 1 ton 4x4,, with 43,000 actual miles on it,, i am not a ford guy but the truck is super nice,, so i go to the ford boards and ATTEMPT to tell them about it in a thread,, only to get a moderator delet my post and insult the way i type, WHICH I UNDERSTAND CAN BE DIFFICULT TO READ AT TIMES BUT IM NOT A COMPUTER KINDA GUY,,,, but anyways,, he insults my typing,, reads me the riot act seven ways from sunday ,, so i go back in and repost with totally different words,, a couple guys ask me about it and i tell them im not allowed to talk to them about it on the boards but if they would like to they can see it in the classified section, 2 minutes later my emaill allerts me only to show me another moderator chewing me up one side and down the other because i told these guys to look in the classifieds, again i got a 3 page list of dont's thrown at me and a new rear end chewin to boot,,, and they kicked me out of the forums for about 5 minutes just for telling a couple fellas where they could see this truck,,,so i waited my 5 minutes went back in and proceded to put a post up that would make any chevy man proud, needless to say i imagine it was only up for about a min before a mderator pulled it but i know at least one of those moderators got to see it,, but anyways if any of you guys have a buddy that likes f*rd trucks, i have a one of a kind for him,,email me for details and pics,,

thanx for listening to my rantings and ravings,,
but hat are friends for ,,ha ha ha

Hey Mac,

Sorry to hear about you little adventure in F**D land!!
Evidently, they just don't live on the same planet as the rest of us!
( maybe they smelled "quality GM trucks" on ya!) Ha,Ha!
Their loss though,....I've seen that truck, and it would make
any F**D guy want to buy it. Make a great ride with very little
effort! (As far as F**Ds go!) Not to bash F**Ds, but the only good truck motors they made were the 390, 429 group. And for trannys .....maybe the FMX.....if ya can find one. The bodies are just as good as anything GM has built, but the driveline just isn't there. Heck, who knows, if it was, I might take a second look at the 67-72 Blue Oval trucks! They have some nice lines. If I can't
find a nice '69 Chevy before too much longer, I might...umm,.......no, can't go there!
Anyway, good luck on getting it posted somewhere.
I'd try a 4x4 board.......multi-make.
Then, don't forget to come back home!!!! Ha,Ha!
