Boy do I need help!
and where is the best place? Where there are other enthusiasts. I am new to this site and computer technology. I just purchased my first 1970 Chevy C-10, long bed pick up truck. What a mess it is but I some great plans(ideas). But I need help, I am not to familiar with Chevy. I need some input on what to use and not to use and where are the best deals. It was converted to a 3 speed on the floor using a Saginaw 3 speed. I have heard good and bad about this tranny. Is Muncie a better tranny? I am starting the building of a sb 350. About 500 hp. I am making this truck a rat rod. What is the best tranny? any input will help! I will post pics as I go. By the way... there are some really nice rides here.

Welcome from the soggy west coast.
If you are indeed building 500hp that saginaw will not last long. For more opinions just ask away in the engine and drivetrain sections. Good luck with your project. Post some pics. |
