4 link kit

hey guys im thinking about buying the 4 link from brothers but i wanna swap them over into the inside of the rail im sure they will bolt in the same maybe with some reinforcing plates for them to attach to on the inside of the frame would be a good idea also i think i would have to relocate the shock mounts too ! anyone done this , any input guys wouls be cool
oh the reason is im putting on a pair of 15.5 inch mickey tompsons oh i dont wanna leave it leaf spring either

As long as you box in the rear rails it shouldn't be a problem swapping them to the inside of the rails.

What about doing the truck arm conversion instead? Much more durable and can both handle well and go very well down the 1/4-mile too.

Lots of tire clearance too and there are kits out there to convert the square body trucks over to the truck arm suspension if you don't want to fab up your own kit from a donor truck.

problem is that there isnt any doner trucks or parts up here that are in any usable shape it are to find them but you mention there are kits out there to convert them to truck arm ??

Somewhere towards the end this thread Glock35ipsc started talking about doing the truck arm conversion to his square body. There were some good links and info about the kit and the other ways to do it.

If you were 3000 miles closer I would make you a great deal on a complete truck arm setup to use that is on my 67 C10 as I am in the process of converting it into a K10 with a whole different frame.

thanks for the info !! i will look into more the only thing i dont like is how long they are , i know the longer the better for the bars but the looks is uggggllllllyyyyy !!!
