honestly im sure you know more about ls motors than me but i just dont see it being cost efficient. the motor was sunk in a pond in my 05 and runs but wont hold oil pressure so a complete bottom end and built heads then the cost of carb and ignition is going to be more than i plan on having into this whole truck.

i dont even know if you can put a distributor in a ls motor and if notim sure the computer and wiring alone to run the ignition is cray expensive

apreciate it and who knows if i fall into a few grand id love to have an aluminum block and headed 5.3 in her but on a one year timeframe and budget its just not gonna fly
