I want to make this work
I was at the Pick A Part today looking for a master cylinder reservoir due to the one on my Hyroboost being too big since I'm putting under the cab, I found one that will work and I also found one that was a remote reservoir but the connection to the master cylinder is too small. Take a look at these picts and tell me if I can find some connectors (red circle) to fit (green circle).

If you have the mastercyl. that went with the fittings you have. It might fix your booster. just a thought

Re: I want to make this work
What was in the green circles before? Did they have a hose connection too? Looks like it would be simple enough to use a double barb and splice the hose.

Whats your hydroboost from? Your master cylinder looks just like mine. The one I got came off an 05 truck and I thought the reservoir would fit under my cab. I moved it back so I don't have to worry about it. Kim |

Re: I want to make this work
The reservior sat there in that green circled area, it snaps in and is locked with 2 pins
Kim57, My Hydroboost is from a 96 Astro Van. I have a reservior that will fit under cab but would like to make the remote work if possible. Tri5

Re: I want to make this work
I wonder if a valve cover grommet for a pvc valve or filler would work? I have seen ones that are universal so you can size the center hole. Or maybe a trip to Ace or similar hardware store to look a misc. or plumbing grommets? Is there and internal flow valve or will it be under pressure when you push the cylinder? Or maybe a place that does hydralic and equipment or farm type hoses and fittings??

Check this page from wilwood. It has some adapters that may do what you want. You may have to call them to see if they'll fit your master. http://www.wilwood.com/MasterCylinde...cessories.aspx Kim |
