vacation time to cali

Well me and the family are going to Cali for some summer fun. I wanting to find out about some shops or classic truck places to visit I'm in the market for a CLEAN 67 CST. If anyone knows a few places to look it would be great. Were going to the San Diago and Anahiem areas. Thanks everyone

If you are going to be in Anaheim on July 11 you really should check out the Brothers Truck show. Its in Anaheim at Featherly Park and is a real nice venue with lots of nice trucks.

Re: vacation time to cali

Hi Mike, here in Fresno area there is Fat Fender Chevy Truck Parts and Early Classics Ent. Both are great places to by from. They have few trucks to look at. And you are welcome to see my shop. What dates were you planning to be in Cali? It would be cool if you could make it to Jerry Jones Meet & Greet

Fat Fender on McKinley east of blackstone?
Drove by recently and looked in the window...looks like they speak my language.
"N.O.S." or otherwise moderately used parts. I don't mind rust at all.
Hope to catch em when they're open.
...also of Fresno.

Re: vacation time to cali

Cruisin Grand in Escondido (near San Diego) always has some nice cars/trucks for sale. Be sure to visit Sea World, Legoland and the Zoo or Wild Animal Park. Balboa Park is nice to visit, too. Do not go to Mexico, if you want to live.

X2 on the Pomona swap meet. Arrive Earlier than "EARLY" to get the good deals. Plan on it taking the whole day and wear some comfortable walking shoes.

I have been several times. Great deals that get better especially if you can haggle/negotiate a lower price.

Re: vacation time to cali

Classic Industries is in Huntington Beach, easy to get to and if you go up to San Bernie then The truck Shop of Orange County is awesome. They have allot of hard to find stuff as well. I go out in my old truck, fill the cooler with cokes and drive around until I find all kinds of old trucks and treasure hiding here and there out in these old desert towns. Have fun, the 67's are out there.
