its on the outside cuz the top of the cab is on a slight angle it comes down strate so it sits in like 1.5"at the botom but it has built in rain gutters so you dont have to worry about it leaking in

OK I see now. Thanks for explaining. If it werent for the lip on the bottom I would be all over it but I am trying to keep the body looking as stock as possible. Thanks again and good luck with your sale.
