Back to your original question, black or red will resell the best. Beyond that you get into personal opinions of what colors look good. I like that Black Cherry color, I also really love a deep midnight blue. The '94 GMC in my avatar was that color with a blue interior. I miss that truck like you wouldn't believe.

All other things being equal, black or red would resale best, but paint is only part of the equation. Quality of the paint job is obvious, but the problem with a nice paint job is that anything that is not up to par stands out like a sore thumb. The trim has to be nice, the glass, etc, otherwise the paint job looks like it was done to hide something.
