Re: Oh no. My newest purchase..
I don't know why everyone is so hung up on short beds? I admit that they are cool but I think a well done long bed is just as impressive! Don't be a sheep and do a short bed just because everyone says it's the only way to have a cool truck...my 63 long bed gets as much if nor more attention than most of the short beds around here.
Hang on to it, build it and cruise the hell out of it!!! |

HaHa..
You guys are either going to laugh or be pissed, but the 65 left my driveway an hour ago.... I couldnt not do it. I had a trade offer for something worth too much to turn down. But. Don't fret. Im still hanging here because I have my eyes on something I want..but wont mention yet. Its a 60-66 though.. Stay tuned....

OkOk
A slightly off topic....drumroll... 1996 Camaro convertible V-6, automatic, loaded, new top. I couldnt not do that trade...even though I hate those cars. So I quickly listed it forsale...for more than double what I wanted for the truck... Got my eye on the prize!

oh and for the record long beds rule I like to cary a bed box and thats 2 feet with a short bed i would end up with a 4 foot bed. what's that? the dog won't even ride in a 4 foot bed. maybe for your hot rod but for a working truck its gotta be a long bed. Sorry grumpy consider this thread jacked |
