need some insight-- door poppers on 85 c10

ok may sound stupid but i am trying to install my door solenoids for my shaved door handles on my 85 c10 and the solenoids are way bigger than i thought they would be.(from airbagit.com) just wondering if any one installed them, or knows where to put them on your door without interfering with the window,pics would help.thanks

Do you have a pic of the solenoids you have? I have some from AVS on my truck but I'll have to get pictures tomorrow.

I did the same thing, I bought 85lb solenold from airbagit.com and they are way to big. I finally decided to buy the dual acuator ones from AVS. They are way better in every way. 50 bucks for both plus shipping. Easier to install, and way quieter. I'll see if I can post some pics of mine

do you have avs,s website?i can not find nothing.i though it was me but those solenoids from airbagit are way to big to put in the door.

Here are some pics of mine. It might look like the door panels might not fit with the way I installed mine but they do. The other pics are of the rear barn doors, top and bottom latches so I used two. Used a ball-bearing pully from patio door to re-route cable.

I always put them at the bottom of the door pulling from back to front...I also use a "bike brake" cable set up to turn the corner to pull down on the latch....
