Not mine.....67-72 cab $1500

Is it me or is this guy high or what? I think so for a non AC no option cab. Rust free or not, you can buy a torn apart project or a runner for this price.

The value of anything is based on what someone is willing to pay!

Re: Not mine.....67-72 cab $1500

If this is really a "rust free" cab with rust free doors this price is not bad at all. I know it doesn't have options but that can be changed pretty easy by removing windshield and spot welds. I know you can buy complete trucks for $1500 all day. It is so hard to find rust free ones. Would I buy it? nope I have spent a few months doing rust repair and mods on our cab. I can tell you if you have the money and not the time fix rust it's a good deal. Besides, maybe he will negotiate on the price a little?

I agree. It's hard to find a rust free truck in the $1500 range, and replacing rockers, cab corners, kick panels & cab supports will come close to that at most shops.

If that was a 67 small window I would look at it.

Re: Not mine.....67-72 cab $1500

Just my opinion but rust free, original paint parts will always bring a premium. I live in a high desert and would still consider a premium cab and doors in mint condition fairly priced at $1500. I would certainly want to have a close look for that kind of money, but quality = $$$$. Sharpie

Re: Not mine.....67-72 cab $1500

I sold a rust free cab for 900 and the doors off it for 600 so together that's 1500....and both buyers were happy with their purchases

Re: Not mine.....67-72 cab $1500

I agree but if a guy is spending $1500 on a cab and doors, they had better be nice. This one looks really rust free, but is dented up a bit. Me personally I'd rather find a cab that needs a little work for way less than what this cab is starting out. I guess from what I've seen on this board for what guys are selling for cabs, this one isn't as nice. But that's just me.

Didn't check out the pictures that close... I agree if it needs a lot of bodywork still that it isn't as good of deal. The cab I sold needed outer rockers basically and no dents to speak of.
