Gas tank fill started

I started to run my gas lines. I have a mustang tank between the rear rails. I have a 2 1/8 opening on the tank and a 1 1/2 on the fill. Not only that but the neck was at a 45 degree angle. I cut the neck at a 45 and spun it 180 degrees and silver soldered it back together to make it straight. Then soldered a fitting on to vent the tank through a drilled hole. The fitting screws on and vents the tank. My questions are is is vented enough for a relatively stock sbc and does anyone see issues in the future. The vent will be protected by the bed wood and the tank below. Thanks.
