My replacement compressor is from Delphi. Delphi was spun off from GM a few years ago, but continued to supply GM. Shop around and use some "good ole boy" connections. I buy parts from O'Reilly's and use my employer as the purchaser. This gets me a good discount. I pay cash and pay the tax. That keeps the tickets from being sent to my employer. It's legal.
Might look funny if you were buying a transmission for a hair salon......
