1950 Brakes

Just wondering how to adjust brakes on a 1950 chevy pickup. there are two adjusting wheels, and are those the only things you have to play with, or are there other things also?

Re: 1950 Brakes

Shop manuals tell you how to do everything on these trucks.

This goes directly to the brake section.

Which way to turn them can be confusing. If you have never been into one, pull a drum to get an idea what is happening You are turning the wheel cyl. cup. They are all right hand threads so keep in your mind what is happening when you turn the cup.

Yes, those are the only things to mess with. I agree with wrenchbender, they are confusing.
