SM465 wires

I got my automatic going in the blazer finally and was taking care of some loose ends. The dark green and light green wires going to the 4 speed are the back up lights. What is the lone black wire for? Neutral switch? If it is it never worked. I tryed to find it on my GM wireing diagram, but had no luck.
Thanks, Randy

The other switch on a 465 (besides the reverse gear ind.) is a high gear switch for the TCS system. The switch grounds the wire when the tranny is in 4th gear.

Yes, Transmission Controlled Spark. Do a search if you are interested in how it works.
