68' to 70' axle swap! Need Help
I have a 68' 4x4 1/2 ton with a 4" lift and I'm going swap my axles with 3/4 ton axles from a 70' with a 4" lift. The 70's axles have 35's with a 16.5 rim. The question I need help answering is can I use the tires without any mods to fender or fender wells? Any help would be appreciated thanks!!!

Re: 68' to 70' axle swap! Need Help
How wide are the 35"s? It really depends on the specific lift and the width of the tires. I originally put a 4" lift on my 69 and the 35x12.50"s on an 8" rim didn't rub. I put those same tires and rims on my 70 K5 with a different brand 4" lift and the tires did rub a little when turning. Only way to really know is get it all installed and find out.
