I'd get these NOS GM hinges... They're like a night and day difference to ANY repo hinge. I had 2 different sets of repo hinges on my 78 and both sets were loose and just like my old worn out hinges... they really were a waste of money...

Then I bought a set of the ones below. WOW i never knew theses hoods would spring up the last half of the way by themselves. These GM NOS hinges are worth every penny. I just can't speak highly enough of them. and classic parts is a good place to shop. excellent customer service in my experience and I bought a whole lot of stuff from them.
