How low can I go
I want to drop my 71 long bed as low as I can go with just coils and I dont want to notch the frame or get drop spindles, but I want to be able to get an aligment and I dont want the frame to smack the axle. So what do you guys think. Thanks... Mark

Re: How low can I go
I think you can get away with a 3/5 drop, but you would need a new panhard bar and possibly need a C-notch.

Re: How low can I go
4/6 all day long no notch needed, you will have to get an adjustable panhard bar...

Re: How low can I go
I always heard that 5" or more in back and you need a notch, yours never hits the frame? Did you have to get rid of the bumpstop?

No notch needed. The 4/6 or lower will require drop spindles up front.

Re: How low can I go
I would do at least drop spindles in the front so you can keep some front end geometry in it, and still have some travel left in it. I just did the drop spindles from Early Classic, and they were an easy bolt in,with no problems. Very quality pieces! Good luck
