Drop Shocks For 1 1/2 drop springs?

Just like the title says, do we need to get drop shocks if we are only using 1 1/2 inch drop springs?

Re: Drop Shocks For 1 1/2 drop springs?

when mine had 2 inch drop springs it had shorter shocks ,and when I went back to stock springs I changed to stock style shocks, not sure it was necessary but I do believe that some vendors sell different shocks with different amount of drop springs so they deem it necessary. seems like it would effect the effeciency of the shocks to me? maybe someone will chime in whos more smarter than me.
