Would someone please tell me the best way to get the old rear control arm bushings out?

I used a propane torch on mine also. Be warned they can blow flaming rubber bits all over if you do it that way.

I used a press and some sockets...be careful about the thin sleeve on the outside of them, it has to stay...There are 2 ways to press em out. 1 Way WILL press the sleeve out, the other way will press the bushing out and leave the sleeve. Good luck!

Some prefer to remove the rubber from the bushing using a small drill bit, repeatedly drilling holes all round the perimeter until the inner sleeve can be pushed out. If the outer sleeve needs to be removed and a press is not available, it can be cut on one end and "peeled" in toward the center using chisels and punches.

If you're going to burn the rubber out, it should be done outdoors over a bucket of water. The fumes are toxic and chunks of burning rubber are sticky and can be very dangerous if not controlled.

I am replacing my rear trailing arm bushings now also, those just hammered out easy next will be the panard rod bushings. has anyone got a part numbers for the replacement bushings for these parts?
