Re: got my steelies on - b4 & after pics

Hey Dougo that Burb looks great with those steelies! Was curious to know what the size difference in rim & tire was between the two sets?

Thanks Southcity. I'd have to measure the alum wheels... I believe they are 17s, maybe 10 wide. The steels are 16.5, went with a 33 12.5 - which is basically same size tire that's on the alum wheels (made by Weld). That tire size looked good on the truck, plenty of clearence. So, no real difference in tire size (other than the new ones fit a 16.5 rim - same height/width). The offset is a little better on the steel wheels though... they tuck a little better than the other ones. That's not much help... let me know if you want specifics and I'll measure over the next couple days.

That's the exact wheel/tire size I have on my burb.
I get a lot of compliments on the way they fill the wheel well.

No need and thanks for that info. Those steelies really set that Burb off, what a great look, I'll bet others on the road are noticing too.....great job!
