A/C problems in this 100 degree weather !!!!

Just a quick question... I recently changed all wiring on my 86truck to a 91 suburban for fuel injection. Two (GREEN) wires are coming from my A/C side as I kept the stock A/C wiring of the truck and one (GREEN) wire is coming from the 91 fusebox on the outside.

Is it ok just to put all the three green wires together or is it better just to install the 91's A/C wiring.

If I didnt explain myself let me know, and also let me know the difference in A/C wiring from the older 86 that required 2 green wires as opposed to the 91 suburban having 1 green wire.

sounds like the green wire from fuse box on 91 is actually temp sender wire should be able to use 86 wires and be fine one is power with switch on and the other is ground wire has to have both to work I can post some diagrams for both tomorrow at the shop if you need them

Re: A/C problems in this 100 degree weather !!!!

I checked the diagrams for both trucks today on my alldata. Both are Identical should be a dark green wire and a black wire to compressor. dk green wire will be 12 volts with switch on and black wire to a ground Alldata wont let me save to a file so I can post it. If you have a fax available I can print and fax to you. you could possibly have a bad low pressure switch not letting it come on it is in the liquid line has two wires , if you unplug it and jump the wire the compressor should kick on. hope this info helps

I'm thinking you just have to ground the black to a pulley. I'm going to set mine up tomorrow.
