Re: fuel cell mount

Unless I'm mistaken, the Aeromotive aluminum call has "L" brackets at the 4 corners to mount. It doesn't take a massive structure to hold 15 gallons of fuel. Even at 5 pounds per gallon your talking less than the weight of a 12 year old. The cell is covered as far as tech goes for protection from the track debris. You just need to fab up some tabs at the corners to bolt to. I used 3/4" square tubing and 1" angle iron. Supported the 'straps' at the front and rear. Been that way for 12 years of street driving and plenty of track racing. Still solid. Can't see much but here's a shot while under construction.

.....It's kinda the same when your STUPID.

I just did my taxes and reviewed my SS statement. Thanks to the current administration it looks like I will only have to work till noon on the day of my funeral.
