Low Options...

This pic I took of a '72 GMC today, the one I posted that was for sale a while back (but its not mine). I think this is the lowest you can go on options...model #, paint, and trim? Anyone else have lower?

EDIT: also, what's up with the wheelbase?

Well duh. It didnt have tires on it when they made the list, therefore they couldnt measure the wheelbase. hehe. J/k. That's about weird.

Is that a 'T" or an 'I' before the CS on the VIN?
That had to be some special order.??

T is for GMC and C is for Chev .. only in 72 trucks did they do that. so you would see CCE142****** for example.

if someone ordered a new glove box door, why would they bother to put just the color and trim and nothing else? hmm

another thought: the GMC emblems on the fenders say "1500 Custom", would that be listed on the glovebox door? My GMC's emblems just say 2500 V-Eight, so it must be base.

It seems like the amount of options printed depends on how the guy thats doing it feels, its weird that sometimes options that the truck has are not listed and sometimes they are. I guess it might have to do with what factory it came from too.

crank you dont need tires to measure wheel base, its center to center on your drums or discs or whatever...

1969GMC-I've got a '70 chevy swb that has those few of options(model #, paint, trim), I thought it was really rare because the truck is a short fleet at that. Also, talking about options on glovebox doors; why the heck would they list "floorboards" as an option?

The option "floorboard" means it has a wooden bed floor. It was an option on a fleetside bed. (steel floor was standard)
