TBI Chips.

I want to get a custom chipped burned for my 1993 Chevy 1500 4.3. It has a 4L60E trans. I want more low end take off without sacrificing to much pull after 50. Has anyone ever had this guy burn them a custom chip? If you have how are they? Will these chips work with my other mods, Gibson headers, cold air intake, and throttle body spacer?

Re: TBI Chips.

Let's see if we can get some information. I know I've seen other posts, even recent ones, that mentioned burning a chip.

Try doing a search for someone?

Re: TBI Chips.

Ok i finally got time to call him. He told me that because I dont have a performance camshaft they cannot burn me a chip. Even with the mods I have done he said they are all useless without a different cam. So a chip cannot be burned.

Re: TBI Chips.

For future reference, if you put in a cam, I have read some posts on here that were very positive. Everything I've read says that a personalized chip is the way to go, and that he is the guy to do it. I don't think I've seen any negative feedback about him.
