Anyone running 283 w/ power pack heads

I have a 65 283 with power pack heads I am going to rebuild and possibly put into my 1940 Plymouth pickup. I hear good and bad things about the heads. The engine appears to be stock with the original 2bbl intake. I would like to use all of it as is with the required rebuilds and would like some good low end torque.

one thing comes to mind... if u use these heads, hardened seats need to be installed due to today's gasoline...

forget torque out of your 283..ever hear the saying "Theres no substution for cubic inchs" these little pony motors like to twist but arn't much for torque...well unless you gear the hell out of it??
