Cool Which hub caps look better on my truck ?

So I finally got some hub caps for my trailer with the D60 axle. I put them on last night, and I kinda like them more then the ones I have on my DD now. The chrome ones are my truck. I had to get the 3500 Dually caps because the 2500HD ones are not deep enough for the axle on both trucks. Here are some pics of my rusty truck with caps and my trailer with the gray hub caps. I think I just may get the gray caps to fit the front and put them on my DD ... What do you guys think ?

^^ I agree. The caps in the first two pics have fluting (grooves, whatever), while the wheels do not. I think the smooth painted caps are a better match to the wheels.

These are center caps, not what we know as hub caps.Hubcaps went out in`91.As far as center caps go,I don`t like any post-98s.The 99-98 style looks much better.

Thanks for the center cap clarification. I tend to use alot of wrong names for parts. I will figure it out sometime

When I get the matching gray caps for the front, I will post pics. Thanks again for all your input

Re: Which hub caps look better on my truck ?

Don`t think I`m an anal Oxford scholar or anything .I just am compelled to keep terminology straight for the sake of tradition.Do they cap the hub?Yup!! But,go back when both styled wheels and hubcaps were both used and they had different names since they are two diferent things.Fast forward to these days when hubcaps are extinct on newer vehicles and many weren`t around (or into the hobby) to know any different.
Whenlanguage is lost we will no longer be a civilization and we can`t have that now can we?

What did the say on Laugh In all the time/Look it up in your Funk & Wagnal.(from back when there was hubcaps)

Oh,and BTW...X5^
