1971 A/C Heater Control Assembly

Does any have or know a place where I can get a new A/C heater control assembly for a 1971 C/10 deluxe? Preferably new, magazine is way above my price range at the moment.

71 Custom,
The heater A/C control's have this design problem of breaking the top lever. It can be repaired with a replacement lever.
Some of the vendors even carry a replacement lever that is made of steel.
There is also a kit which contains all three levers.
NOS GM control units go for around $125.00
Good used ones around $25.00

If your control unit is in good condition and only the broken lever syndrome, I would rebuild it with the stronger levers.
A used one that is not broken has a good chance of breaking in the near future.

Just my .02 cents worth

Have fun

I'd rather have a new one, the chrome is pretty screwed up. But thanks.

I understand what you mean about the chrome. It seems that they have a problem with pitting after 30 years.
I found a couple on ebay just to give you an idea of value:

NOS A/C Control
Used A/C Control

Be aware the new ones do not come with the switch or cables.
As alway's be sure to check the shipping price before placing a bid.

Have fun
