Rear drop coils for '67 C10
Any recommendations on where to get rear drop coils (heavy duty) to drop the rear 3"? I've read on here the standard drop coils from CPP are a bit "soggy". I'd rather go with the heavy duty ones but CPP's catalog only shows 2" drop or 4" drop.
Thanks, Dave |

I don't know about being "soggy" or not, but I get ALL my suspension parts from EarlyClassic.
Note: I have no experience with either to say which is better. I think both ECE and CPP manufacture their own springs. Last edited by Kayotic; 06-19-2010 at 10:38 PM. |

Don't those make for a real soft ride? I've seen pictures of those and the coils are like half the thickness of the stock ones. Might be real comfy, but I think he wanted some that he could haul with.

Re: Rear drop coils for '67 C10
He could always cut down springs off railroad box cars. We did that back along time ago. we took them out eventually absolutely no compression at all was like riding on a buck board. Sorry I just had to throw that in. to me lowering trucks and wanting to use them to haul don't go hand in hand.
