Dash wiring and idiot lights - stock 87 c20

Hi!
I have a stock 87 C20, 350 3 speed, crew cab, long box. Old government truck.

I ripped out the dash to replace bulbs, clean it up, and put on a new silver cover I picked up from the parts yard. I ended up grabbing a whole gauge assembly at the yard, as it was cheaper than buying the bulbs separately . It's from an 83 Burb.
Now, I know I can't do a straight swap of the whole panel. But the Burb has actual gauges, and not idiot lights. What I'm trying to figure out is how to swap the gauges? The Burb had actual gauges for Temp/Oil/Volts. My 87 has idiot lights for all 3. But looking at the back of the printed circuit, it doesn't seem like they're the same at all, even down to the same number of connectors. There's over 300 threads for "idiot lights" and my eyes are getting blurry... So... can anyone give me a straight-up kick-in-the-pants on how to swap these around?

Thanks!
Cerv
