70 K20 spotted in Chillicothe, Ohio...

I spotted a nice original 70 K20 in Chillicothe Ohio for sale yesterday. No price was listed and I didn't find an ad on craigslist. I'm guessing its a 70 because of the open knuckle Dana 44. Has a sm465 np205 and ho52 rear. Frame looks solid, cab is solid etc. Only rust hole I found was on one of the outer rockers. Cab mounts were solid. Badging said it has a 350. Has a new exhaust system. It even has the original underneath spare tire bracket with an old snap ring wheel. It has a later set of 16 inch steel rims that would take do dishes as well as a one piece 16 inch spare in the bed. The seat was in great shape. Looked to be original paint. It looked like it was kept inside and taken care of in its 40 years. Only thing wrong was the drivers door latch, so I couldn't open the door to look at the vin. It was on rt 50 on the west side of town. If anybody is interested, I can go back by and get the phone number off the for sale sign next time I am in Chillicothe next week.

Thats the one, I don't know how I didn't see that ad. I gave it a good looking over, it looks really solid. Didn't pop the hood though being a tire-kicker and all.

BTW, I bought my 67 from a guy in Orient.

Close to Bubba's Corner. And it is flat black, blue, red, white and clear where the rust holes show through. She's a little rough on the outside, but solid where it counts.

Yes the 70 in Chillicothe is a really clean truck.
