Startin my project next week Have few ??

So i thought i'd pick your guys brains here. Im wonderin can a guy get 6 bolt disc brakes for the front of these trucks? Im doing a 69 and want to keep the 6 bolt wheels.
Next ? Im going to put a tall deck bbc in this and was wondering if i used small block motor mounts if you think my headers would fit not bad or should a guy still go with the big block mounts.

Pickin up the trucks next week and will post picks of the build up

I think 72 motor mounts for a bbc would work best to tuck in some headers, maybe 73+ ones also. as for 6 lug rotors, I recommend early classic or GMC Pauls.

You can also get the 6lug swap parts from KMS or Scotts Super Trucks ... KMS car parts will ship to your nearest shop.. if your not located in the lowermainland.. You will be paying through the nose to get those parts shipped from down south... anything to do with panels/brakes heavier parts.. shop local. Plus you'll eliminate the horrible shipping nightmares and custom charges.

Best bet is to find a 73-87 donor and just swap the whole xmember than pickup new brake parts from the local auto parts shop.. than buy the 6lug rotors (and drop spindles if your lowering) from one of the retailers i mentioned above..
