was it the brakes?
i have been researching the pull to the right issue when i apply the brakes. after using the 'search' tool here i have not been able to pin point what the final result was for most guys here. is it the spindle thats the issue or is it the caliper? i'm thinking to just replace my spindles with drop spindles anyway and hope i fix the 'pulling to the right' issue.

Re: was it the brakes?
I'd say brakes would be the most likely to make it pull when braking. The spindle would be all the time.

Re: was it the brakes?
If its got relitivly clean brakes, then i would consider calipars. If its pulling to the right when you brake, than the LEFT calipar could be weak. The right is doing more grabing, and pulling it to the right... Just my 2 cents and from experince.

Re: was it the brakes?
Drive it around the block and then back into the driveway . Jack it up and spin the front wheels . If one is hard to spin , the caliper may be in a bind. Probably the left side . My truck did the same thing and it is usually a collapsed hose from the frame to the caliper . They do not seem collapsed but they are internally .

Re: was it the brakes?
I forgot to mention that if you jack it up and it is hard to spin the wheel or rotor , just crack open the bleeder screw and close it back up . If that makes it easier to turn then the rubber line is most likely collapsed internally. The master cylinder creates quite a bit of pressure so it will push through the collapsed hose but the piston seals in the caliper flex and that is what pushes the caliper piston back a little to release the clamping force . The seals do not create much pressure to push back and will not push through the collapsed line causin the sticking brake . Releasing the pressure with the bleeder screw will release the pressure in the caliper and up the line to the point of the clog .
