shorting a lwb frame?
Has anyone cut down a lwb 1987 frame to put a short box on it?

Take a look in our FAQ forum. There is a great article there on the subject. There have been a lot of LWB to SWB conversion done recently due to the popularity of building SWB crewcabs. Look in the 73-87 project forum for those builds

the only thing i found in the FAQ FORUM was cutting down 67-72 or (tech. 60-72) I have done that a couple times but never an 87. The 87 truck can be a great money maker in this area. The long bed truck is more available and alot cheaper. I was wandering were the best place to cut is and how much to take out.
