Best way to clean these up?
These were on the 350 that I killed. I was wondering what was the best way to clean them up without ruining them. So far I have just wiped the down with a rag. Any solvents? What about pressure washing?
Thanks, Amstaff |

I use brasso on all my chrome and aluminum, it gets dirty easy after you use it but it will shine it up sweet.

If you can find it try Busch polish,it is the best polish I have ever used, and I have tried mothers, wenol, neverdull, eagle one,and everything else at one time or another, but trust me you will not use anything else if you try this stuff,it is the best, you can find it at some RV stores,it will make your valve covers look brand new.

I found a good way to use a polish and not do it all by hand. If you have a small vibrating palm sander just clip a rag in there (double it up) and put the polish on whatever you are cleaning and just go to work. Once you have given it the twice over, take the rag out and flip it over and wipe most of it up by hand. Then put a clean rag in and buff off all the residue that is left. Works pretty well.
