If they open at idle you have a major problem. Perhaps you could elaborate more on your concern and objective?

I think you are confusing terms here, you cannot see the jets from the outside of the carburetor. They are inside the fuel bowls.

Remember if its flooding bad be careful. Flooding can cause you other headaches if you keep letting it run that way.

Re: dumb question but hey im young

If this is a quadrajet with vacuum secondaries, you cannot get the secondary plates at the top to open by revving it, It needs to be pumping a lot of air through the engine under a load to for the secondaries to open and join the fun. (That's assuming the secondaries are set properly).

But if you have a mechanical secondary carb then they will open by just working the throttle cable, the engine doesn't need to be running.

What's probably more interesting to most of us is why you've lost your license for another six months.

Re: dumb question but hey im young

Must have got the ole "dewie" eh. In some states they make you spend 3 days in the lock up for .08 but they let people text and drive all day long. Makes no sense to me

If she wants to die on you when the secondaries are opening that normally means they open early or the fuel is dumping into them. What kind of carb do you have? can you take a photo of it? Start with the basics, look at linkage and make sure it is all freely working..... and tune up the bike.
